How To Go To Dewandaru Airport At Karimunjawa

Dewandaru Airport (sometimes called dewandaru airport) is may be not familiar in your ears bacause it is a pioneer airport that is in the tip of beautiful little island called Kemujan, Karimunjawa. Beside that there is no much flight traffic of airliner that have flight service to this airport. The located of Dewandaru Airport is precisely at island kemujan, the north of Jepara Regency, Central Java.

The Simply Terminal Building Of Dewandaru Airport

Today after renovation, the dimension af runway is widen and extended until 30 X 1.200 meters. The biggest aircraft that can land to there only propeller aircraft with seats capacity not more than 21 passenger. The trip from Semarang to Dewadaru takes approximately 25 minute by using airplanes and need more long time if you fly via Surabaya. If you choose to get Karimunjawa Island by ship it takes about 6 hours by Fery Boat/Ship or 2 hours by quick ship.

At least there are White Sky Aviation (Kura-Kura Aviation) that services charter flight to the airport and PT. Airfast Indonesia that service regular flight 2 times a week to Dewadaru Airport both Via Semarang and Surabaya. It is about 22 km to reach main city (Karimunjawa Harbour) from Airport. So if you go by using airplane, you first must get deal with the hotel management to pick up and drop from hotel to Airport. So just take it easy to have travelling to Karimunjawa Island.
